Alexis Torres, also known as Benny Tattoos, was born in Mexico City on May 1, 1994. From an early age, Alexis displayed remarkable artistic talent, which naturally led him to be part of Mexico's vibrant street art scene. Unbeknownst to him at the time, tattooing had always been a part of his life. He grew up watching his father tattoo people in their neighborhood using a handmade machine he had crafted himself.

As time passed, Alexis's drawing skills evolved, allowing him to develop his unique artistic style. This not only sparked his passion for art but also provided him with opportunities for income, prompting him to take his career as an artist seriously. Fully embracing his craft, Alexis became deeply involved in creating murals and tattoos, turning his passion into a lifestyle.

Alexis believes that the journey of learning in art never truly ends, and there is always room to grow. He takes pride in his expertise in black-and-grey realism, portraits, lettering, and a variety of other tattooing styles, which have become hallmarks of his work in the tattoo world.
